  Al's web page serves as a resource for K-12 educators, especially science educators. He is currently a recipient of a National Science Foundation Graduate Research Fellowship in Instructional Technology for Science Education at North Carolina State University. Al learned to incorporate technology into his biology teaching while a high school teacher in South Carolina.

• Index of Resources for Historians
  A HUGE hotlist (about 1700 links, file size about 185K) which takes time to load but is well worth the wait. Links are listed in alphabetical order by subject area, with history as an organizing theme but with lots of interesting links only loosely related to history.

• Berit's Best Sites for Children
  Berit, Cochran Interactive's Online Librarian, presents an excellent, extensive list of links to sites oriented toward elementary-school children. Each site has been carefully selected, reviewed and given a rating out of 5.

• Web66
  Just as U.S. Highway Route 66 was a catalyst for Americana, the World Wide Web can become a catalyst that will integrate the Internet into K12 school curricula. The Web66 project is designed to facilitate the introduction of this technology into K12 schools.

• Family.com
  Sponsored by Disney Online, this site uses a magazine format, with articles on subjects related to parenting and familes. It focuses on common issues faced by parents and child but doesn't specialize in one subject area. It's like reading a parenting magazine.

• EdLinks
  An excellent resource of educational related links. The primary purpose of this Web Page is to serve as a starting point for educators who are interested in researching educational topics on the Internet.

• I Am Your Child
  The National I Am Your Child Campaign site contains a large amount of information about early child development, examples of what some communities are doing to improve child health and safety, and lots of resources for use by parents and community organizations.

• National ParentingCenter
  This site focuses on medical and behavioral issues and also provides advice on child development issues for children of all ages. It has topic-oriented chat rooms as well. New articles are added every day.

• U.S. Consumer Gateway

• American Savings Education Council
